Today, on January 24th, 2015, the largest half pipe in the country, authorized by FIS, was inaugurated at Bankei Ski Area. The opening ceremony took place at the finish area, featuring demonstrations by several snowboarders who had previously represented Japan in the Winter Olympic Games.
