The ginkgo trees lining the path from the main gate of the Faculty of Science at Hokkaido University are famous among Sapporo city residents. The map shows the route I walked. The total walking time is just 60 minutes from parking my car to returning to it. There’s a red parking mark indicating the cheapest parking around here, I believe, at 100 yen per 30 minutes. It’s currently October 29, 2019, and the ginkgo trees are displaying their full autumn colors, making it the best time to visit.
