The Hakodate City Museum of Northern Peoples (函館市北方民族資料館) is situated in the Bay Area, adjacent to the Soma Company Building. It houses collections donated by Osamu Baba and Sakuemon Kodama, renowned authorities in anthropology, archaeology, and folklore.
