If you’re looking for a tranquil and secluded spot, consider visiting Lake Shikaribetsu and hiking Mt. Hakuun. I visited with my family in early winter 2021, and it was a wonderful experience. We enjoyed the stunning scenery from the top of Mt. Hakuun all to ourselves.
