This theme park is inspired by various aspects of life and events from the Edo period. The park features an exciting array of attractions, including bustling merchant houses along the main street, grand samurai residences, and ninja houses filled with surprising contraptions.
Visitors can enjoy thrilling ninja action and elegant performances. It feels like stepping back in time at Date Jidaimura, where many buildings related to the Sendai Domain, ruled by the famous one-eyed dragon, Date Masamune, have been faithfully recreated.
Noboribetsu, renowned nationwide as a hot spring resort, is a land that was developed in the Meiji period by the descendants of Katakura Kojuro, Date Masamune’s right-hand man. Noboribetsu Date Jidaimura carries on this pioneering spirit to this day.
