Onuma Park, Sightseeing and Wild Nature

Onuma Park is located in the southwest of Hokkaido, specifically in the Donan district of Oshima sub-prefecture. It is conveniently close to Hakodate, reachable by car in under 40 minutes, or approximately 2 hours and 50 minutes by express train from Sapporo. The park is characterized by three ponds: Onuma, Konuma, and Jyunsainuma, surrounded by the majestic Mt. Komagatake. Designated as a Quasi-National Park in 1958, Mt.
